For whatever reason, there&#8217;s a &#8220;Use Transparent Window&#8221; option under the Debug menu. In between page loads, the entire window goes transparent &#8212; a pretty cool effect.<\/p>\n<p>To get to this feature, you first need to enable the Debug menu, which is hidden by default.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n1. Quit Safari.<br \/>\n2. Open a terminal window.<br \/>\n3. Copy and paste<\/p>\n<div class=\"codecolorer-container text railscasts\" style=\"overflow:auto;white-space:nowrap;width:680px;\"><table cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\"><tbody><tr><td class=\"line-numbers\"><div>1<br \/><\/div><\/td><td><div class=\"text codecolorer\">&nbsp;% defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1<\/div><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/div>\n<p>4. Launch Safari.
