Portectorz for Apple Laptops
This is one of those products I wish I’d come up with!
Protectorz is for data port protection for PowerBooks and iBooks.

The company, RadTech, also sells other really nicely made Mac-related products.

Hmm, I wouldn’t put my PowerBook into an enviroment where I need these things…

Well, I guess the idea is to protect the ports against “accidents”. Better to be safe than sorry… But seriously, at about $20 a pop… the people at RedTech are on crack!

Certainly! Add-ons for Apple products are almost always overpriced, though. Even the simplest “skins” for the iPod are for sale at 30$ on average. You really loose a lot of money if you are as fanatic about Apple as I am…

Small typo on this site - it’s RadTech.
Also, $20/per unit isn’t overpriced if you understood the quality and precision that Portectorz are made with. They are absolutely custom-molded per ‘Book model and provide a sealed and secure fit to protect your ports. Please check our site and give ‘em a try - they are truly a professional, high-end protection solution.

Perhaps I should have a look in person before I jumped the gun and called you guys “crackheads”.
The truth is, I probably would invest $20 on something like that as soon as I get a new PB!
